The first tea of the year to reach Paris from the Himalayan foothills is always a highlight. DJ1 means it’s the first batch produced this year. Puttabong is special because it was the first tea garden planted by the British in the mid-19th century in this region on the borders of Tibet, Nepal and Bhutan.
